Easier said than done. The concept of finding another planet to colonize has been with us for a long time. It appears in old mythology, old cultures, and in the modern day the fever runs rampant.
Find another Planet to Colonize.
The process of Finding objects should be defined now, as a universally agreed upon dictionary of rules involving the categorization, the naming, and the process of documenting every object in the Galaxy. Location, spin, drift, and every other known bit of information should be entered into a standardized, universally accessible database (group of databases).
Once a Planet has been Categorized, it must enter a stage of Examination to determine the use the planet will be to our Species, and what possible issues there will be.
